am failing to download and upgrade applications from the App store. How can I resolve this.

am failing to download and upgrade applications from the App store. How can I resolve this.

Dearest Tevseric, I didn't see your message. I didn't have automatic download, and asking one.. it just wouldn't do.
This is what I did: I deleted my desktop whatsapp (that needed update) and downloaded a new one as new. Quite rude, but it did work.

I have the same problem; I have to update my WhatsApp needs un upgrade: App Store answers: "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later." This has been going on for several weeks.
On the iPhone 6s, iOS 14?
Turn off automatic download (updates) if on, restart the device and turn on automatic downlad (updates) again, retry.
