Siri Briefing News Source
Is it possible to have the default news source in the daily briefing be something other than NPR?
I can ask it to play something else and it usually will but always defaults back to NPR
Thanks

"Hey Siri, what news sources do you have?"
Lists three in the UK, but as you say it doesn't seem possible to change the default source.

According to Do more with Siri - Apple Support that is how you're supposed to do it.
Want to switch to a different news source? Just say "Hey Siri, play news from," then say the news source.
Participating news sources only. News isn't available in all countries and regions.

And that’s my problem. That works for the current session but I really would like to change the default so I don’t have to ask every time.
