iPhone freezes when updating passwords

That’s not the right solution for this issue, I’m afraid. After the last couple of iOs updates the (iPhone SE) Safari browser starts freezing and the site becomes unresponsive whenever I try to set a new password, reset it, or change it. Any website that contains a password reset function is affected.

To reproduce:

1. Access a website, for example, Instagram, and choose “Forgot password”.
2. Click on the reset link in your emails, and access Reset Password page.
3. Start entering password.

Expected behaviour: The keyboard appears and you can enter the new password.

Actual behaviour: The browser freezes and becomes unresponsive, keyboard cannot be accessed. Browser eventually shuts down. Pasting a password doesn’t work, either.

Affected, in this case, is my iPhone SE, iOs version is 14.4.

Update: Restarting the phone doesn’t resolve the problem. I have just tried to restart my phone (again) and, as before, the browser freezes and crashes on all password reset related pages, no matter if it’s Instagram or any other random page.
