Move Gmail to trash on iPhone

I’m trying to switch my swipe option for gmail through the iPhone mail app. I’ve followed a few tutorials that direct me to the “advanced settings” under the gmail account tab. I’m not sure if the latest update changed this option but I have no such button as an option on my iPhone XR.
