How do I fight purchase?

I got the receipt for an App purchase, and it was not what I agreed to when I downloaded the app and selected the post-trial option. I've emailed the app company, but have not heard back. I want to dispute the charge since I did not agree to a one-year subscription, only a month-to-month subscription.
