High Efficiency or Most Compatible for best quality IP12 pro Max

Apart from the lens flare I really like my 12pro Max, however one thing is bugging me and that is whether to set High Efficiency or Most Compatible. I’m not bothered about storage and want the best quality photos/video.

If I search online all the info is from years back and not relevant to 2021 and the iPhone 12

iPhone SE vs iPhone 11. Urgent advise needed Hello, I have a choice to make between an iPhone SE (2020), 128GB, and iPhone 11, 64GB. I can get them for a pretty similar price via a phone plan, so money it's not an issue here. I like the the wide angle camera of the iPhone 11 (I'm a photographer), but the size of the SE is very practical and the 128GB too. Which one would be your choice and why? Thank you!

HEIC format holds more info and it will get better with updates.

JPEG had its day. Tell it to move over.
