music on SD card
is drag and drop still available for external media/SD card? I can select and drag to SD card but I don't get the "green+" and the files don't drop.

Hi there Xtoast,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you would like to transfer some music to your SD card, but dragging and dropping is not working the way you expect. This article shows how to use your SD card to transfer files: Use external storage devices with Mac.
We hope this helps!
Hi again Xtoast,
You actually wouldn't be dragging from your Music app, but rather from Finder to your external hard drive. See how to find your music files here: Change where your music files are stored on Mac.
We hope this helps!
ya I guess my problem is I don't have iTunes anymore I have "Music" what a step backwards
No, I am talking about music I have on my Mac that I own, music that I used to be able to drag to my miniSD card from my iTunes playlists and then insert that SD card into my Bluetooth speaker. Now it seems I have to go to those files in the finder and drag individual songs or albums to the SD card instead of just dragging whole playlists from iTunes like I used to.
Hi,
If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can’t copy music that you have downloaded because of DRM.
