I bought a new SIM-free iPhone, but it came with a SIM-card??

My current carrier is T-Mobile, but I decided to order a new SIM-free unlocked iPhone 11. When I opened the SIM tray to insert my old SIM-card, there was already a T-mobile card there. Does anyone know why that is?

Probably a mixup, however T-Mobile phones form the Apple website are fully unlocked. So you should have no issue.

You can of course return it, but the presence of a T-Mobile sim should not affect usage in any way. You can just remove the one inside and insert your own.
