Seagate Drive No Longer Showing Up

So I have 2 Seagate potable drives 1 week old. They are no longer showing up on my mac pro. I tried a different cable. I tried 2 other apple computers. Tried different ports. The drives are not showing up in my Disk Utility. The drives are lighting up and not making any funny noises. Seagate chat had no answer for me. Odd this should happen with two drives at the same time. Wonder if my mac somehow is responsible . Anyone have any ideas?

If this is a Intel Mac (does not apply to M1 SoC)

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
