Is changing screen covers?

I bought this macbook pro last year and I don't know how the screen is cracked but I want to know if it's still covered?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Unless you purchased Applecare plus protection plan, accidental damage such as a cracked screen is not covered in the regular warranty. But do go ahead and contact support to get a confirmation from Apple.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

This may be a Faulty Device. You have a one-year, out-of-the-box limited warranty. So, if it has been less than one year since the purchase, then go through Apple, seeing if this can be replaced free of charge.

How it Send-in Service would work:

  1. They’d: ship you a box
  2. You’d: ship it back
  3. They’d: look at it
  4. You’d: get a new one, if approved.

IMPORTANT:

Include some notes on this, such as where thesis occurring, and how you came about it. Go here: Send-In Service - Include Handwritten Notes with the Packaging - User Tips
