Apple ID changing process

Can I change my Apple ID from mobile no to email I’d?? If yes what is the process?

No. You can change it to another phone number, but not an email address.

Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

If your Apple ID is a phone number

You can change your Apple ID to a different mobile phone number.

ok, but will this phone no I’d will be ok for all task on iPhone.Since I’m recently shifted from android to iPhone I don’t have much idea.

If it’s ok then why I am not able to do any call on FaceTime??why i can’t contact on FaceTime??

Yes,Iam from India.. my friend tried doing and his call were going his using iPhoneSe and same with mobile no as Apple ID.

As per support my setting are showing as it is mob no Apple ID and email I’d but I can’t call anyone. Please help.

Did you double check the settings to make sure that you set it up properly?

Did you sign into FaceTime with your mobile number?

Settings>FaceTime>you can be reached by FaceTime at>your mobile phone number?

Also set the caller ID as your phone number?

Yes ,setting checked .

caller I’d selected as mobile no

face-time >mobile no and email both selected.

but can’t call others
