Hi MAXSIMPSON360,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue connecting to Safari due to an error. We're happy to help.

Does the issue occur with a specific website or any? As accessing the web using a different browser works as expected, we recommend testing the connection while booted to safe mode. If needed, the guide here can assist: Start up your Mac in safe mode

If the issue continues, you'll want to test in a new user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac, and continue with the steps here: If Safari doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected

If the issues remain, you can also test disabling any VPNs or third-party anti-virus software you might have installed, or temporatily disabling any third-party extensions. How to install Safari extensions on your Mac

Cheers!

What to Try: Reinstall the macOS

Start by backing-up your Mac to an external hard drive that is 1.5 times the storage capacity as your internal drive, and then reinstall the macOS. Nothing would be deleted with this reinstallation. It's just that items that were misplaced and deleted, will be relocated and reinstall to how and where they should be, all respectively. Always backup - that way you will have a backup to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstallation.
