How to fix error C0000022 while loading canon printer software ?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Your printer is an AirPrint printer. First, connect to WiFi on the Canon printer, then follow these steps to set it up. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > (If the Canon already is there, select it and hit "-") > Hit "+" > Select the Canon > For "Use" use AirPrint > Add it. Try printing now.

I restarted computer. opened safari (not firefox) turned on printer, held the connect button on printer, went to https://ij.start.canon. followed instructions for g7000. Now I'm printing.

Hi loftytwo,

Is this error from the Canon print apps or macOS? What model of Canon printer do you have? What version of macOS are you running (Apple menu (top left) > About this Mac)?

I'am running catalina, 10.15.6, and can't download driver for a new canon g7020 printer
