Downloading from apple tv+

Is it possible to download apple tv+ shows onto a USB drive to watch while I travel?

Apple TV+ shows can be downloaded for offline use, for up to 30 days.

Playback should happen on the device as used for downloading. The files are not transferable for playback on other devices.
