Lost Apple ID with no email address

Hello i sold my iPad years ago and now the guy who bought it from me called me and he said that when he resets the iPad it needs a Apple ID starts with b******@gmail.com and it said that it needs to be removed from the find my iphone and now I don’t have access to the email address or the password

i Just want the guy to know that this Apple ID is not mine is there anyway I can check if it’s mine or not like from the phone numbers or something

Even if you don't have access to the email address (b******@gmail.com) you might be able to reset the password for it and solve the issue for the buyer.

Try the steps in:

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

and try and reset the password for b******@gmail.com

If you gain access to the account:

Remove a device from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com - Apple Support

If you have the original proof of purchase you might also be able to get it unlocked by contacting apple:

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
