Hey there M12A,

We'd like to help with both issues, so let's start with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. As you already restarted your watch, we also recommend restarting your paired iPhone. This link shows how to Restart your iPhone.
  2. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is 14.4. You can verify the version number installed within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  3. The latest version for your watch is watchOS 7.3. You can verify the version number installed within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to Update your Apple Watch.
  4. Let's make sure that Haptic Alerts is enabled. Check out the steps for this under 'Manage Haptic Alerts' here: Change the audio and notification settings on your Apple Watch
  5. We also recommend reviewing this entire article, but we wanted to call special attention to the section 'If you don't see notifications on your Apple Watch' here: Notifications on your Apple Watch
