Can I download and use the plug ins that I purchased for the Final Cut Pro Trial? I managed to get it downloaded and installed, but now I am getting red flags on the Final cut pro trial. Is it because it is a trial only?

I expect that most plugins will work with the trial, but I can't be sure.
They have to be installed in the correct location. How exactly did you install them?
Did you create the folder hierarchy manually? ~/Movies/Motion Templates/Titles/(category folder)/(title folder)
Did you "localize" the Motion Templates and the Titles (and Effects, Transitions or Generators) folders?

Most plugins should work, assuming they've been probably updated to work with the current version and OS.
