How do I download metal

Recent versions of macOS (starting in OS X El Capitan) already include Metal (2) by default.

However, your Mac must also have Metal-capable hardware. Macs made in 2012 or later should have full Metal support.

Metal, the Apple Graphics acceleration, is built into the system. There is nothing to download.
