No luck! I keep getting:
I don't think my network connection actually keeps getting lost. I'm using a Verizon FiOS network and router (and I've tried restarting the router). I see no evidence of lost network connections in any other app on my iMac, nor do I see them on my iPad or iPhone.
I don't know what is referred to by "Genius" or "Genius results." Can you tell me what these terms mean? Thanks.
All the music tracks in question are still shown in iTunes as "Waiting."
I have an old iMac running iTunes 12.8.2.3, in which I have 22,268 songs. It's running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I believe this iMac is too old to update to higher versions (if any) of iTunes. It's too old to update to MacOS Catalina or higher. It's too old to run Apple Music in place of iTunes.
I'm at a loss to explain why I keep getting the message "Genius results can't be updated right now. The network connection was lost." Do you have any idea what's going on, or any idea what I could do to get around the problem? Again, thanks.
