I realize Adobe Flash is history. What is a safe and effective flash player for iMac and MacBook Pro? Thanks!

I am a college teacher. Sometimes students plagiarize their writing submissions. I am stuck with such a problem this morning. I enter the suspect verbiage into Google and it pulls up the likely source of the plagiary, but the site requires me to download a flash player app to view it. I don't trust the app.

Just to add, any install Adobe Flash popups are definitely not legit.
There is no flash replacement.
Thank you. I need a flash player, but don't want to download one that's offered on some sites where I need access. Any thoughts on one won't malware up my machine?

You're welcome. Why do you need flash player? For one thing, Adobe is blocking flash content.
There is no flash content for you to play. At all. It's not just flash player that's dead, the tools to distribute it are also dead.
There are no alternatives.
You're welcome. I have no idea why a site would still be trying to use flash when the EOL has been known for over three years.
