I just recently got an iPhone 12 pro and it got stolen... I put in an insurance claim prior can I submit another request or can I only use an insurance claim once a year?

I am hoping that I have misunderstood your question.
If your iPhone is stolen then you can only put in one claim for your stolen iPhone with your insurance. One iPhone, One claim. There is no double dipping on insurance policies.
What am I not understanding in your question?
