I just purchased a new iMac, I am supposed to get Apple TV free for 12 months, however, I have spent the entire day trying to get it and all I can get is 1 week free

Apple TV + 1 year free I've just bought a 2019 iMac (mid Nov) and with it came a free 1 year subscription to Apple TV+ but nowhere can I find a way of accessing this and at this rate my 3 months to access will soon be up. The best I get is a 7 day free trial with an ongoing monthly payment. Any help gratefully received.
