If you enabled it more than two weeks ago,, or if you bought the phone with it already enabled, you cannot remove it. If it was not initially enabled, and you enabled it less thann two weeks ago, you can use the link in the confirmation email to turn it off.
You should get a pop-up on the Mac where you can enter the code. If you then trust the device you shouldn't havew to keep doing this, though occasionally both the request and the code will pop up together.
So if you sign into an Apple service on the Mac you should should get this. Do you have an up to date system? Older systems won't produce the pop-up, but you should be able to get in by entering the code immedately after the password, e.g. 'password1234546'.
My Mac is four years old. For some reason in the past few months, every time I go into the Cloud in my Mac, it wants that Verification Code. I don't have a Pop up. So I don't have a place to put the Code that I got from my I Phone.
Enter your password followed immediately by the code, e.g. 'password123456'.
Where do you put Verification number on your Mac when you get it from you I Phone. I can't find a place to put it.
Did that and it said it was the wrong password. I entered the correct verification from my phone followed by my password and it said it was incorrect. Very frustrating
