Safari won’t open on my iPad Air

Safari all of a sudden will not open on my iPad Air. I go to open the App it’s tries to start the a blank white page then it reverts back to the icon on my home page. I’ve seen other reports of this on here and tried everything recommended but nothing seems to work! HELP PLEASE.
