Birthday year saying BE

I’m trying to update my sons iPad, and for birth year it says “BE” at the end and keeps saying “invalid birthdate. Help!

Please check: Settings - Language & Region - Calendar = Gregorian.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues adding your son's birthday. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.


Is your son under the age of 13? If so, they may need to have a Childs account set up with family sharing. This article can help: Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child


If they already have an account set up, next review this article: Help your child set up an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If you are still having issues, can you verify which iPad you are currently using? Which iPadOS version is installed? Also, was the birthdate ever entered incorrectly before?
