I’m going to suggest that you will likely need something more powerful. Here are a couple things that I have heard about working well on Apple bands:
Mr. Clean Magic Easer
Nail Polish/Varnish remover pads.
Eucalyptus oil

I faced a similar issue. Same color on my band. I am an avid user of apple products. I faced an issue with an apple product for the first time, here is my experience with the customer service. I bought apple watch series 5 last year. Since one and half month, it’s battery was draining very quickly. In addition to this, the band (rose gold) got discolored. I called Applecare Canada in mid January. The customer care executive ran a few diagnostic tests. She told me that the battery life is 97% (that’s what the software told her contrary to what I was experiencing) and I need to update the software of my phone and the watch. After that it should be okay. Also, I was told that they will replace the discolored strap. She informed me that they would give me a call after four days to see how things are going, after updating the software. It got better but still the battery drained rapidly. To my surprise, I did not receive any call. I called the customer care again, this time I was told that they will replace my watch with a new one. She asked the color of the watch and the band for ordering it for me. She filled the forms for me, wrote the name and my address as well. Then, she said that her senior would handle my case going further. That senior told me that they cannot replace my watch because I do not have the extended warranty and my warranty is left only for a few days. He booked an appointment for me at the nearest apple care. I went to the store and showed my watch from a distance. He ran the same diagnostic tests and concluded that the battery is okay (without even touching the watch). I told him that my watch drains 50% of its battery in just 4 hours to which he said that given the expected battery life of apple products this is okay, it is not bad. I asked him about the discoloration, he told me that this is what is expected out of pink and white straps. I think then it should be highlighted with bold letters when a person buys the watch, so that a person is prepared for it. He gave me an option to send the watch to the tech team, but at the same time informed that they will just reset the watch to factory settings and will run the same tests all over again. As from the test, there is no problem they will return the watch as it is. I wasted my hours on the phone with them and still no resolution of my problem. In my opinion, I won’t recommend apple watch series 5 to anyone. Based on the battery health shown in the watch, they are telling that it’s 97% healthy, not considering the fact that I am experiencing a way less battery. Also, they themselves said that the battery life is less, and the discoloration is expected.
