updating Apps purchased with two separate Apple ID's on iPhone X

Hi, I had a business iPhone 10 and a while ago I bought a secondhand SE to use for the business so I could use the 10 for my personal use. At that time I started a new personal Apple ID. The problem I have now is that the X has Apps bought using the original business ID, I need to update them but the App Store wants me to enter the password for the work ID but it's not liking it as I'm already signed into my personal ID. Is there a way around this? I realise that I could delete them off the X but I think that I would loose data off twitter for example.

You can have an Apple ID for iCloud and Activation purposes and you can also have a separate Apple ID for iTunes & App Store Purchases including the apps.

On your iPhone X, you can open Settings ➔ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➔ Media & Purchases: You can sign out of your personal Apple ID and then sign back in with your work Apple ID. What this will do is download and update those apps that were downloaded with your work Apple ID. You can then leave the setting this way.

The only issue here is that if you have apps downloaded with your personal Apple ID on your iPhone X then those will have to be deleted and downloaded again. You will have to make this call.

One other thing is that most apps that require their own login and have a method of saving the data on their servers. For example, you mentioned Twitter. Twitter will maintain the data no matter which device you use to sign on.
