I forgot to impair my watch with the phone I had to trade in today. Erase content on watch is not working... how can I reset watch to pair with my new phone?

If the no-iPhone section of: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support isn’t working, check directly with Apple Support. Use the Get Support link in the upper right.
