Can’t start up my mac

i deleted something accidentally and now this i what it shows, i was trying to clean my mac with “command + R” and then in the disk thing I deleted something, please i need help!!!

I think you might have erased your startup disk, which includes macOS and all of your data. Unfortunately it is likely toast unless you have a backup.


There is an unlikely chance that your data might be ok. To check, follow these steps:


  1. Start up from macOS Recovery: Hold down Option-Command-R on your Mac as you power it on. Release the keys when a spinning globe appears, or when you're prompted to connect to Wi-Fi.
  2. If you're asked for an admin password, enter it to continue. This is a good sign that your data is ok.
  3. Go to the top of the screen, and select Utilities -> Terminal.
  4. Type "diskutil list" without the quotes and hit Enter (Return).
  5. Post the output for the first five disks here.
