I just got a pop up that my Legacy extensions won't be compatible with future updates and I should contact the developer to find out if they are going to upgrade. Is this something I should be concerned about NOW or worry about down the road. Don't even know what extension it is. With my most recent update I'm told there is an extension that may not be good in future updates. Don't know what extension or who the independent provider is. Should I be concerned at this point? How do I find out what this extension does?

Per chance do you use or have used a pluggable Ethernet adapter with your MacBook Air? Did you get a warning that this extension was being blocked by Apple's Gatekeeper?

Apple doesn't develop the drivers for this adapter so you will need to contact them to answer your questions about compatibility with newer macOS releases.

yes. i do use an Ethernet Adapter. will i be able to keep my ethernet active in my current Catalina 10.15.7 OS?

How about if i update to Big Sur 11.0 or Big Sur updates? thank you
