Macbook Air bluetooth spotty connections

I recently noticed that the bluetooth connections to my Air Pods, magic mouse and (external) trackpad has been spotty. For magic mouse and trackpad there is a lag and scuttling of the cursor in tracking. For Air Pods, both the mic and speakers intermittently cut off.

I will need to reset the Bluetooth connection often to refresh. Any thought before I send the Mac back to Apple?
