Welcome Rammboo,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have a question about bringing back messages. We'll do our best to assist with this.

First, it depends on what you mean by bringing messages back. Are you restoring a backup and missing your messages in the Messages app? If so, were you using Messages in iCloud? Using Messages in iCloud helps to store messages there and you can sync them back from iCloud. To check this go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Messages in iCloud.

Did you delete the message you want back? If so, there isn't currently a way to restore deleted conversations in the Messages app. Once deleted, they cannot be restored unless you restore a previous backup (prior to deleting the conversation). Also note, if you do restore an older backup, anything between that previous date and now will be removed from the device.

Has the Messages app been removed from your Home Screen? If so, it will be in the App Library for you to restore to the Home Screen. Swipe to the left till you see the App Library, search for Messages and when located, tap and hold the Messages icon. It will pop up an option to 'Add to Home Screen'.

Let us know some additional information for further help, take care!
