I need help in pairing an Apple Pencil with my IPad Model A2228 with type c usb
I recently purchase an iPad A2228 and cannot seem to pair it with an Apple pencil because the iPad has only a type C-USB

You have the wrong version of Apple Pencil; the first and second generation Pencil are not interchangeable - and can only be used with the iPad that has appropriate internal hardware.

The first and second generation Pencil use an entirely different pairing and charging interface. The first generation Pencil can only be used with compatible models of iPad that have a Lightning port; the second generation Pencil is used with iPad models that have the magnetic/inductive dock (2020 iPad Air4 & 2018/2020 models of iPad Pro).
