GDPR compliance- forgotten security question

Hi,


I want to delete my apple account but i am facing the security questions to which i forgot the answers.

I can make purchase, login in and logout from my phone and have full access to my email and can confirm my identity by Identification issued from my home country Sweden.

How to delete my account in this situation and how apple can be in line with GDPR regulations ?


Any tips?

You need full access to your account to be able to delete it.


While you can prove who you are with a government ID, That does not prove you made the account.


As to if it is in line with GDPR you would need to ask a lawyer.


But I can't say it is weird that you can't delete an account you cannot fully access because you forgot the security questions.


You could try and reset the security questions, or try to enable two factor(you might be able to do this without your security questions if you are signed into an apple device), and then delete your apple ID.
