No damage and working good, but it was happening? anyone can help or apple can free replacement because is Apple's bad screen quality

iPhone 6s Plus backlight issue? My trusty old 6s Plus works great with one exception: It has developed some bright white spots and vertical streaks on the display (image link below). I am fairly adept with electronics repair and have successfully done several "ifixit" level jobs on phones, including a battery replacement on this one a year or so ago. my backlight is not working causing two white dots to appear on the screen . I was told that because i. I dropped my phone and required a new glass protecter which has been done. My screen is showing two white spots I was told that it is damaged on the inside and probably caused when the phone was dropped. Can I have this repaired. The phone is not covered by warranty.
