Making a booklet on Adobe: "Saving while printing not supported"

All I want to do is make booklet PDFs and I literally had someone from Adobe remotely fiddle with my acrobat and it still wasn't resolved. He said that Mac doesn't support Save as PDF because we don't have PDF Maker but I don't buy it. Does anybody know of a solution? Or have a workaround to make booklets. I am gonna try next to make them on word and then change them into PDFs but I'm starting to question my subscription to Adobe.
