Rotating Tables in Pages 09

I need to add a Table in Landscape Mode in a Pages Document whose pages are all in Portrait mode. I did a crude attempt by doing the Table in Landscape mode and then using Grab to create a tiff image, which I then inserted into my document. The only problem is that the text is not very sharp compared with the normal text in the pages document.
I can's believe this is an abnormal requirement, as you can rotate Images and Text so why not Tables.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

You believe wrongly.

At least at this time, the tables which are spreadsheets structures can't be rotated.

You may ask thru the dedicated channel :
_Go to "Provide Pages Feedback" in the "Pages" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'11 😉

I just add that I guess that this tables feature will not change.

A clever workaround is to print the table in a PDF document,
crop it to keep only the table
rotate it to fit your needs
Insert it in Pages.
The result will be better than a TIFF screenshot.
