Links to installer downloads include those that your Mac can run:

• How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683

There are individual links to get 'upgrade' installers direct from Mac app

store. As downloads, these appear in Applications Folder in your Mac.

Past Mojave the issue of 32-bit vs. 64-bit driver support comes in.

See Go64 for details: https://www.stclairsoft.com/Go64/index.html

( macOS Mojave ) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?mt=12

Other means that could be useful, should you need to 'create

a bootable installer' ~ for most of the listed macOS versions:

{And a more techie way to look into the matter. ~ Not really needed, given above links.}
