Reinstall AOL mail account on IPAD

I deleted the aol account on iPad because not receiving mail ( data still on iPhone but also not receiving mail) adding account in settings doesn’t seem to take...help please

sbcglobal.net I can receive and send mail from this account on my iPhone 12 but can no longer do either on my iPad. Help. If I delete the account on my iPad I will lose it on my phone, correct? Any suggestions?
