HomePod for zoom calls?
I have a new macbook air and do a lot of Zoom calls for work. thinking of purchasing a homepod mini to use for my calls. will this work? can i use the pod as speaker and mic for zoom calls?

No. While I know you can handoff phone calls to HomePod (which I assume must use Bluetooth) the normal connection between a Mac and HomePod will be over AirPlay, which is one way and introduces quite a bit of lag. It is not suitable for any interactive use.
