iPhone 12 pro email sending problem

I bought a new iPhone 12 Pro, transferred everything to the new iPhone and everything worked fine. Then, I reset my old iPhone to send it in and I can no longer send new emails. I can respond to existing emails but not originate a new one. Everything else about the phone is fine. Any thought on what settings are wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you can't send email from the Mail app on your iPhoneiPad or iPod touch, there are a few things you can try.

  1. In Mail, tap Mailboxes in the top left-hand corner.
