Failure to cancel subscription on IPhone after following usual procedures

I am trying to cancel a subscription in iphoneXR. I followed the usual protocol:

tap “subscriptions.”

find subscription to cancel

tap “manage subscription”

tap cancel

only Now the subscription is still listed as active, still charging me but the “manage subscription” button is gone and the subscriber says I need Apple to fix this

Help!
