How to update mojave

Hi guys,

following a discussion with apple support i tried to erase my disk on a refurbished mac so i could upgrade from mojave to catalina, and when i erased it it took me to mountain lion, which i presume is a older version, is there anyway to go back to mojave?

HOW do I upgrade from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave before losing support??? I cannot find any way to upgrade. How do I upgrade to Mojave before you take away my support?

On an Intel-based Mac, you can use Option-Command-R at startup to upgrade to the latest macOS that is compatible with your Mac.
