I don’t recall exactly what I did but my mini keyboard split into two parts: the keys went one place on the screen and the background went another. So I moved the keyboard slightly and the parts came back together (fixed itself). How do I report this to Apple?

There is nothing to report - because nothing is broken. You have simply “discovered” the Split Keyboard functionality that is available in all models of iPad with screens smaller than 10.5”.

This is a user-to-user forum. Other than the site Moderators who monitor for compliance with Terms of Use, Apple do not monitor these Communities.
I am not aware of any similar reports within this Apple Support Community.
Unless you can recreate the issue, you’ll have nothing other than an outline description of a single occurrence of an unrepeatable issue. If you are able repeat the problem, Apple do invite constructive feedback and bug reports via their product feedback pages:
Can you reproduce the problem? If you can recreate the issue, take a screenshot - and post it here.
You may not be able to include an image in your report, but you can include a link to this very page - were you have pasted the image.
Here’s what it looks like, from the Facebook app. Note the keys are not aligned with the keyboard background. Reproducible now. It’s fixed if I move the keyboard slightly. Odd, huh?
I reported it to Apple but they don’t allow pictures, so they might not understand.

No, that’s wrong. The background was in the lower left corner (a white box) and the keys (ALL the keys) were near the upper right corner, with no background
I’ll snap a screenshot next time. It only happened once in 30 hours of usage.
Do you know if Apple reads these discussions, or do I need to do something else to report this to Apple?
