Considered Donating It?:

Perhaps there is a local donation business in your area. They may take it in. It may be purchased, and they can do something for others with what they get for the sale. Obsolete hardware is often seen at such locations as Goodwill.

iSight is, regrettably, out of date technology which was associated from 2003 with Apple iChat, later FaceTime. Apple ceased selling the iSight camera in 2008. The technology has since been superseded and incorporated into the iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone products with later improvements.

There are various examples on eBay of iSight for sale, ranging in price from EUR25,000 to EUR150,00 (I am in Germany). The iSight originally retailed for USD149.00. It is a beautiful piece of design as is the packaging. It may be more something to keep as an example of same.
