One option to do this is once the Pages document is completed, export it as a PDF. Export to Word, PDF, or another file format in Pages on Mac - Apple Support

Then, reopen that PDF with Preview. Choose an app to open a file on Mac - Apple Support

Alternatively, you could look for and download a third party app from the App Store. Some may also require the document to be exported to PDF first though.
