HP 3015 Printing Problem

Just recently my HP LaserJet 3015 all-in-one (fax, scan, copy, print) has started printing one blank page for every page of any document (so I get one good page 1, then a blank page, thence good page 2 followed another blank page, etc.). I of course can strip out these blank pages but would prefer to fix the problem rather than live with it.

I don't know if this is a mechanical problem or a corrupted printer driver.

This problem also shows up in making copies (every copied page is followed by a blank page).

Anyone else have this problem or some suggestions for a solution (other than buying a new printer)?
