Repeated input on key hold

I want to be able to hold down a key while typing and have it repeat the key without having to mash it (i.e. hold down "k" to do kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk instead of furious mashing) but I cant find any way to change it in my settings. Is there a way to do this that I'm missing?
