Watch draining too fast and not closing apps

My apple watch series 5 has been draining its battery too quick since the last update. It was fully charged this morning and now 7 hours later it is 44%. By the time I get home its on the red.

Also I try to close the apps which are open and it wont close. I have to swipe about 30 times and finally the X comes up to close them.

I used to get through a full day, including using it for a 45-60 minute workout, and it would still have 35-40% battery by the time I went to bed. Apple Watch series 5 Battery draining I have updated my Watch series 5 to latest version 7.3.2. After this update watch battery is draining so fast that never happened before. My watch is mostly on stand by when I am was home and still it's battery is draining very quickly. I have already tried unpair and pair my watch and also off my always wake screen option and background app refresh but no luck. In Past , If I am not using my watch still battery left more than 70 percent but now a days battery is completely finished in the evening itself. Does anyone facing the same issue after the software update?

Suddenly my watch will no longer swipe up to show battery life. Everything else works. Suddenly my swipe up to check battery life on apple watch 7 isn’t working - won’t let me swipe up. Everything else fine. What can i do?

Force restart your watch by holding in the crown and side button for 10 seconds till you see the Apple logo then release
