Hi dhkinil,

Thank you for giving us the chance to assist you with your MacBook Air. You can count on us to do our best to assist you or get you pointed in the right direction.

We understand that you are experiencing issues with the interface of your device.

We recommend that you check if the issue persists while on safe mode. Below is an article to help guide you through the process.

How to use safe mode on your Mac

Have you had the chance to check if the persists on a different user account? The article below can help if you do not have any other user account to test with.

Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

Also, would you please tell us more about the issue you are experiencing. IS the quality of the display not as expected?

Is the interface issue isolated to a certain app or feature?

Please keep us posted.

Take care!

Not sure you can see the screenshot, but I set up a second account and when using Safari the screen looks correct. I reloaded the operating system and signed into my wife's account (it is her computer) it did not fix the problem

thanx in advance

dhkinil,

Thank you for keeping us posted. Providing us with a screenshot may help us be in a better position to provide you assistance. If you are going to provide us with a screenshot, we highly recommend that you make sure that there are no sensitive information on your screenshot.

If you find it challenging to provide a screenshot, kindly provide us with a detailed description of the issue. For example, what makes the interface incorrect? Why does it seem like the interface is from about 30 years ago? Is the issue isolated to Safari?

Please keep us posted.

Take care!
